Halibut and Salmon Salt Water Fishing

Pacific Halibut: the Kenai Peninsula is home to some of the finest halibut fishing available anywhere. We fish out of our Greenacres Campgrounds. Limits of halibut weighing between 20 and 50 lbs. are the norm, with halibut between 50 and 300 lbs. being caught by some fishermen. Charters leave from Ninilchik daily with Ninilchik having its unique advantages: proximity to excellent fishing grounds, travel time, and scenery being optimal. Combination trips fishing for Halibut and King salmon are very popular saltwater trips. Halibut fishing is our specialty and runs from May through September with King-halibut combos having the greatest catch rates in June.
